Papua Air
Papua Air was the first
independent airline in Papua (Iran Jaya), and was a fully
owned subsidiary of GT Air
Indonesia. It started operations
in January 2003 with two
F27 Mk500s. In 2004 the airline
ceased operations for the
reason that not enough traffic
could support the two F27s

The history of the pictured
F27 PK-LTP: The c/n 10398 was
delivered to CEP France in 1969.
In 1994 it was sold to Farnair
in Switzerland were it flew for
its subsidiaries in Holland and
Germany In Jan. 2003 the F27
was sold to GT air and transferred
to Papua Air, 14 month later
the F27 was back with GT Air.
