Side view illustrates the Fokker F27 Mk500, a stretched version of the F27 Friendship. 123 aircraft of this version were built, 20 of these Mk500 were without a large Freight door. The Mk500 can carry 52 passengers CEP, now Europe Airpost, was the first operator,
with an order of 12 aircraft in 1967
A grand total of 786 Fokker F27s were sold, including 205 aircraft built by Fairchild. The F27 was built in various versions.
